What IS EasyCPR?
My EASY CPR-Denver classes are about safety training in a friendly and relaxed environment. The 2-hour class conveys all the information and skills – but without the stress and anxiety of written tests and pressured testing/observation of skills. All that “old stuff” is unnecessary. What IS necessary is that the physical skills are learned, you are able to stay calm to call 911 and use with confidence your skills during that window of time before EMS (Emergency Medical Services) arrives.
I call my Easy CPR-Denver classes “CPR Parties” because there are chuckles, camaraderie and questions answered as you learn. I share learning stories I’ve gleaned over my 16 years of training CPR/choking skills and First Aid – and the youth Babysitting CPR class.
You will learn basically three things:
- How to tell if a person does or does not need compressions
- How to perform the 2” compressions
- What to do if someone (any age) is choking
What my class IS? It’s focused training so you are effective in that window of time before 911 arrives. You learn compression-only CPR (the version without giving breaths) and how to use an AED, should one be available when the emergency occurs.
What my class is NOT? It’s not boring, it’s not stuffy, it’s not stressful. Chuckles in a classroom escalates retention!
Book a “CPR Party” with me – I come to a) businesses to train your clients or b) homes to train friends and family.
